Revisiting Tampa’s rich history through photographs

I call myself a photo archaeologist, “digging up” old photographs from numerous sources and attempting to discover their origin and the stories behind them. This website is in two sections. Section one contains vintage Tampa photos and their stories and, section two exhibits the Burgert Brothers’ work and shows some entire from the Burget Brothers books with comparisons of then and now. Take a trip back in time and experience the visual history of Tampa from the early 1900s through the early 2000s.
